Keepora is a Shopify app by LooLon that lets stores ("merchants") sell subscriptions. This policy explains what data Keepora processes for merchants and their customers.
Customers of the store
Subscriptions – when a customer subscribes at checkout, Shopify creates the subscription in the merchant's store. Keepora keeps a copy of each subscription for the merchant's dashboard: the customer's name and email address, the products, prices, delivery address summary, dates and status, plus a history of changes (skips, pauses, payments) and the reason given when cancelling.
Payments – cards and other payment methods are stored and charged by Shopify. Keepora never sees card numbers; it only knows the card brand, last digits and expiry month, to warn the customer before a card expires.
Emails – Keepora sends service emails about the subscription (upcoming order, payment problems, confirmations) in the merchant's name. The buttons in these emails contain a signed link that only works for that subscription and expires after 3 weeks.
Keepora uses no advertising or tracking cookies.
Merchants
When a merchant installs Keepora, we store the shop domain, the store name and contact email, and the access token Shopify gives the app.
Settings (plans, emails, retention offers, design) are stored by Keepora for the store.
Billing for Keepora is handled by Shopify. We receive no card or bank details.
Where data is processed
Keepora's server runs in the European Union (Germany). Emails are sent through Google Workspace. Shopify stores orders, customers and payment methods under its own privacy policy.
Deletion
When Shopify asks to delete a customer's data, Keepora removes that customer's name and email address and the details of their history.
When a merchant uninstalls Keepora, the app loses access immediately; all data for the store is deleted after Shopify's shop-redact request (48 hours after uninstalling).
Your rights
Customers can ask the store they bought from to access or delete their data. Merchants and customers can also write to contact@loolon.com for any privacy question.
